The self-playing synthesizer.
Pad is a generative pad synthesizer built like a piece of late-70s laboratory equipment. You don't play notes. You draw an Observation, set four weather conditions, and the instrument performs - a polyphonic pad that moves on its own, writing its evolution as a violet trace while you listen. Found an Observation you love? Copy the number, share it, type it back in on any device, and the exact same performance returns. Press RECORD, and Pad renders exactly what you heard to a clean stereo WAV.
